Terms of Sale

Article 1 — Purpose

These general terms of sale govern the contractual relationship between Lockmaster (hereafter "the Provider") and any customer (hereafter "the Customer") for any installation, maintenance or supply of electronic security equipment.

Article 2 — Quotes and orders

Every service is subject to a free, no-obligation quote, prepared after a visit or discussion with the Customer. The quote is valid for 30 days from its issue date. The order is confirmed upon receipt of the signed quote, accompanied where applicable by a deposit.

Article 3 — Pricing

Prices are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD), inclusive of GST. Lockmaster reserves the right to change its prices at any time, provided that services will be invoiced based on the rates in effect at the time the quote was accepted.

Article 4 — Payment

Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due upon receipt of invoice. In the event of late payment, interest at the applicable legal rate will apply, along with a fixed debt-recovery fee of A$65.

Article 5 — Performance of services

Lockmaster undertakes to perform services within the agreed timeframe. A response time of 48 hours is targeted for new installations (subject to availability and the nature of the work). Lockmaster cannot be held liable for delays resulting from causes beyond its control.

Article 6 — Warranty

Installed equipment is covered by a parts and labour warranty for 1 year from the installation date, except for damage resulting from misuse or vandalism. Consumer guarantees apply in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

Article 7 — Cooling-off period

In accordance with applicable consumer protection law, individual Customers have a 10-business-day cooling-off period to exercise their right of withdrawal from the date the contract is entered into, unless work has already begun with their express consent.

Article 8 — Disputes

In the event of a dispute, the parties will endeavour to reach an amicable resolution. Failing that, the courts of New South Wales, Australia will have exclusive jurisdiction. These Terms of Sale are governed by Australian law.
